Instrument Training

I now offer instrument training!  While an Instrument Rating is not required for private or commercial pilots flying in VFR conditions, I whole-heartedly endorse it.  It grants a pilot increased versatility in their planning by allowing flight into existing IMC conditions appropriate to their aircraft.  But it also makes for a safer pilot by granting the necessary skills to navigate unexpected weather changes while already in the air.

​​​​Certificated Private or Commercial Pilots wishing to pursue an Instrument Rating should review the list of requirements listed FAR Part 61.65.

Instrument Proficiency Checks (IPC)

I welcome already Instrument Rated pilots requiring an IPC. A checklist of required IPC knowledge and maneuvers can be found on page 29 of the Instrument Pilot ACS.
