Ground Training

Not all of the training an aspiring pilot will need can be done in the air.  FAR Part 61 requires pilot candidates to "receive and log ground training from an authorized instructor" before certification.  I offer comprehensive one-on-one or group ground training programs for:

  • Sport, Recreational, Private, and Commercial students working with me to complete their flight training ahead of their "check-rides."  The frequency and length of ground sessions will vary on the needs of the student.

  • Prospective pilots desiring to attend "ground school" ahead of their FAA written exams or those requiring an endorsement after they have completed a "home study course."

  • CFI and CFII candidates desiring assistance ahead of their FAA written exams, endorsements for test re-takes, or for their Fundamentals of Instruction Exam.

  • Aspiring Ground Instructors or Drone Operators ahead of their required FAA Written Exams.  Ground Instructor candidates may also be required to complete the Fundamentals of Instruction Exam.
