Ground Training Programs

Not all of the training an aspiring pilot will need can be done in the air!  Hours of ground study are needed to master aeronautical concepts ahead of the written and practical exams.  FAR Part 61 requires most pilot candidates to "receive and log ground training from an authorized instructor" before certification.  I offer comprehensive one on one ground training programs for:

  • Sport, Recreational, Private, and Commercial students working with me to complete their flight training.  The frequency and length of ground sessions will vary on the needs of the student

  • Prospective pilots seeking an endorsement for an FAA written Exam after completing a home study course - to include the Instrument Rating test

  • CFI and CFII candidates needing assistance ahead of their FAA written exams, endorsements for test re-takes, or for their Fundamentals of Instruction Exam

  • Aspiring Ground Instructors or Drone Operators ahead of their required FAA Written Exams.  Ground Instructor candidates may be required to complete the Fundamentals of Instruction Exam
